Most of the animals that are run over die immediately, and the few that survive reach Avihu Sherwood

Updated: Nov 21, 2023

"Most of the animals that are run over die immediately. However, the few that survive seek out Avihu Sherwood, known as the Israeli Dr. Doolittle, who has now reached out to us for assistance. Let's listen to what he has to say."

Wildlife in Israel are rapidly disappearing, with trampling being one of the leading causes. But there's hope—we can make a difference. Introducing the virtual fence, a proven solution already making waves in Spain, Italy, and Romania. This device emits a sound that deters animals from approaching the road when a vehicle is nearby. Now, it's time to bring this life-saving technology to Israel and save our local animals.

With just 30 thousand shekels, we can install a virtual fence in the Hula Valley—an area greatly impacted by trampling incidents. We're already halfway there, but we need your support to make it happen. The cost of one animal's surgery and subsequent rehabilitation exceeds the price of this device. Together, we can make a significant impact and protect the precious wildlife of Israel.
